Title I Services at Central Berkshire are designed to support classroom instruction in reading and math. Central Berkshire offers Title I schoolwide programs which use the approach of improving the entire school program-with the intent of meeting the needs of those students who need additional academic assistance to reach the benchmarks as outlined in the MA Math and ELA Frameworks. Inclusive settings are prioritized whenever possible. Beginning of the year assessments in reading fluency, reading comprehension, math fluency and math problem solving provide valuable information toward small group classroom instruction to help all students become successful learners.

Title I Services are facilitated by the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, Leslie Blake-Davis in collaboration with building principals at Craneville, Kittredge, Becket Washington,Nessacus, and Wahconah. Both CBRSD Academic Interventionists and Title I Tutors provide classroom instructional support.

If you have any questions and/or concerns regarding Title I Services please email Leslie Blake-Davis ( or your child's principal.
